What we collect

When you request the free audit, we collect your email address. When you buy the workspace, we receive basic purchase details from PayPal, including your email, payment status, order ID, and transaction ID. We do not receive or store your full card or bank details.

Your paid workspace stores the tools, costs, owners, usage details, renewal dates, and decisions you enter. The free audit keeps its selections in your browser. We also record limited funnel events such as page views, audit completion, checkout starts, and purchases without storing your email in those analytics events.

How we use it

We use this information to provide access, save your workspace, send the emails you requested, stop purchase reminders after a sale, support your account, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We do not sell personal information.

Services we use

PayPal processes payments. MailerLite delivers emails and manages subscriber groups. Our hosting provider stores the site and private workspace records. Each provider handles information under its own privacy terms.

Email choices

You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email. Purchase and access messages may still be sent when needed to deliver or support something you bought.

Retention and security

We keep records only as long as reasonably needed for delivery, support, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Private workspace links are long, unlisted, and should not be shared. No online service can promise absolute security.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we control by emailing hello@thetoolfilter.com. Some transaction records may need to be retained for accounting or legal reasons.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date on this page.
